Finished with a food-safe penetrating oil, the same finish used on John Boos cutting boards and butcher blocks, this countertop is highly durable and water-resistant. Each countertop is carefully crafted in the USA by skilled artisans, featuring full length exterior rails and random finger-jointed interior rails. During installation, it is important to ensure that any overhang of 8 inches or more (width) and 12 inches or more (length) is properly supported.

These richly-colored blended walnut countertops are designed to complement any style of kitchen décor, offering an easy-care alternative to granite or stone. They serve as both a food prep area and cutting surface, with Varnique (sealed/finished) versions available for purchase separately. It is worth noting that these countertops are not reversible, as the underside may contain minor irregularities that were intentionally included in the design for sustainability purposes.
